PPRI Partnership Featured On Michael Smith Health Research BC Website

Recently, Michael Smith Health Research BC highlighted its partnership with Pacific Parkinsons Research Initiative and how it fosters world-class research right in our backyard. Innovation to Commercialization awardee Dr. Stephanie Willerth’s 3D bioprinting research was made possible by this award, because it fills a gap in health research funding in Canada. Funding agencies are hesitant to support relatively new and risky technology like bioprinting.
