About PPRI

[PPRI] is absolutely crucial, completely vital to the work we do at the Pacific Parkinson’s Research Center. And that is because PPRI is a very nimble, quite small, highly driven and focused and very efficient organization that funds cutting-edge, high-risk pilot-type project research at PPRC.

Almost everyone who is connected to PPRI has been affected in some way by Parkinson’s disease. Everyone on the board I would suggest has a partner or a parent or an in-law that is living with Parkinson’s or lived with Parkinson’s. Four of our board members have Parkinson’s disease. As we go through the annual meetings and the bimonthly meetings and watch their life change, we find it very motivating.
